The Apple AirPort Time Capsule brings super-fast wireless connection with simple backup tools and a large 3 TB storage space. The AirPort Capsule is more than just a hard drive. Time Machine compatible AirPort Time capsule has been developed to work seamlessly with Time Machine in OS X Leopard or later. This allows you to protect your data more efficiently. Time Machine continuously makes a backup copy of your data and saves a number of versions, giving you easy access to restore lost files. As soon as you connect the AirPort Time Capsule to a DSL or cable modem the easy-to-follow set-up assistant will take care of the rest for you. Strong and secure wireless The Time Capsule hard drive is equipped with a powerful beamforming antenna array. This intelligent base station antenna knows where the 802.11ac device is located on the network. It targets that particular signal, resulting in a stronger and faster connection. With a built-in firewall, the Apple hard drive creates a barrier between the network and the internet. The firewall activates automatically when the device is switched on - you don't need to a do a thing. Hard drive sharing You can even connect your old USB hard drive to the Apple AirPort Time Capsule and all your photos, videos and other files will be made available over the wireless network. The USB port can also be used to share a printer across the network in the same way - just connect the printer to the Time Capsule and everyone on the network can benefit from wireless printing.
